Getting Started

Creating Your Account

To start using Rendertize, visit app.rendertize.com/signup and create an account with your email and password.

• Email verification — You'll receive a 6-digit code at your email. Enter this code on the confirmation page to verify your account.
• Password requirements — Your password must be at least 6 characters and include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one digit, and one symbol (e.g., @, #, $, %).
• Starting credits — New accounts receive 20 free credits (one-time) to get started.

The Dashboard

After logging in, you'll see your dashboard with a few key areas:

• Credit Balance — Your remaining credits appear in the top-right corner and update in real time as you use the app.
• Render — The default view when you log in. Upload a 3D model, configure a render session, and capture renders.
• History — Browse your saved listings and renders under the "Listings" and "Renders" tabs, search and filter, edit metadata, and download ZIP packages.

Understanding the Free Tier

Rendertize offers lifetime access to a Free tier:

• Credits — 20 credits, one-time. These do not refresh on a monthly basis.
• Storage — 1 GB of render storage.
• Marketplaces — Full access to all 3 supported marketplaces (CGTrader, TurboSquid, Fab.com).

Render Sessions & Rendering

Step 1: Upload Your 3D Model

When you log in, your dashboard opens directly to the Render workspace. You'll see an upload area where you can drag-and-drop or click to select a file.

• Supported format — GLB files only. (Tip: Export your 3D model from Blender, Maya, or similar tools as GLB for best results.)
• Your model is processed locally — Your GLB file is loaded and rendered entirely in your browser using WebGL.

Step 2: Configure Your Session

Once your model loads, choose how this session will be used:

• Target marketplaces — Select one or more of CGTrader, TurboSquid, and Fab.com. AI metadata will be generated for each marketplace you select.
• Render mode:
  • Manual — Full control. You configure the camera, lighting, and environment, then capture each render yourself.
  • Semi-Auto — Configure the environment once, then let Rendertize auto-capture renders across multiple angles.
• Session cost — Starting a session costs 10 credits. This single charge covers AI-generated metadata for all the marketplaces you selected. The "Configure your session" panel shows your balance after this charge, before you confirm.

Step 3: Adjust the Scene

Once your session starts, the interactive 3D viewer appears alongside a set of control tabs:

Camera

• Yaw — Rotate the camera left/right around the model.
• Pitch — Rotate the camera up/down.
• Zoom / Distance — Move the camera closer or farther from the model.

Lighting

• Shadow intensity & softness — Control how strong and how soft shadows appear.
• Shadow angle — Direction of the light source.
• Exposure & tone mapping — Fine-tune the overall brightness and contrast of the render.

Environment

• Environment — Image-based lighting that affects how the model is lit, independent of what's visible behind it. Choose Neutral, a solid color, gradient, file upload (PNG, JPEG, or HDR), or URL.
• Skybox — An optional combined backdrop and lighting environment visible behind the model. When set, it overrides both Environment and Background. Choose a solid color, gradient, file upload, or URL — or leave it as "None" to use Environment and Background separately.
• Background — The flat visual backdrop behind the model, used when no skybox is set. Choose transparent (with a white or black canvas color), a solid color, gradient, image upload, or URL.

Model

• Rotation — Rotate the model itself around its own axes, independent of the camera.
• Scale — Resize the model along the X, Y, and Z axes independently.
• Animations — If the model includes animations, choose one, scrub the timeline, and play or pause it before capturing.

Output

• Resolution — Set the output width and height in pixels. Rendertize pre-fills a sensible default based on your selected marketplaces.
• View mode — Choose Normal (full color/texture), Clay (neutral material, useful for evaluating geometry), Wireframe (edges only), Wireframe + Material (edges over textures), or — if TurboSquid is one of your target marketplaces — TS Search (locked to a 1200×1200 white-background thumbnail for TurboSquid's search image).

Step 4: Render

Click "Render" to capture the current view at your chosen resolution. Capturing renders doesn't consume credits, no matter how many you capture or at what resolution.

• Renders are captured directly from your browser and added to your session gallery.
• Your gallery holds up to 50 renders at a time. If you reach the limit, delete renders you no longer need to free up space — there's no limit on how many renders you can capture in total during a session.
• In Manual mode, click "Render" each time you want to capture the current view. In Semi-Auto mode, configure your environment once and start auto-capture to generate renders across multiple angles automatically.
• In Manual mode, you can freely adjust camera, lighting, environment, model, and output settings between renders. In Semi-Auto mode, Model and Output settings are locked until your first auto-capture finishes — after that, you can adjust any setting and capture as many additional variations as you like.

AI Metadata Generation

What is Metadata?

When listing a 3D asset on marketplaces like CGTrader, TurboSquid, or Fab.com, you need:

• Title — A short, descriptive name (e.g., "Low-poly Forest Tree").
• Description — A detailed explanation of what the asset is, its features, and use cases.
• Tags — Keywords that help buyers find your asset.
• Category — The marketplace category that best fits your asset.
• Technical details — Marketplace-specific fields such as polygon and vertex counts, geometry type, materials and textures, UV mapping, and whether the model is rigged or animated. Fab.com listings also include compatible engines, LOD count, collision mesh info, and texture resolutions.

Writing this content for every marketplace, for every asset, is time-consuming. Rendertize automates it using AI.

How It Works

When you start a render session (or regenerate metadata), Rendertize automatically captures a short set of preview renders of your model from several fixed angles — separate from the renders you capture yourself, and never shown or saved. These preview renders, together with technical data read directly from your model file (polygon and vertex counts, materials, textures, rigging, and animations), are sent to our AI to generate marketplace-ready metadata — title, description, tags, category, and technical details — for each marketplace you selected in Step 2, tailored to that marketplace's conventions and buyer expectations.

Credit Cost

Metadata generation is included in the 10-credit session cost — this single charge covers every marketplace you selected for that session, regardless of how many that is.

Editing Generated Metadata

Generated metadata is a starting point. You can edit the title, description, tags, and category for each marketplace directly in the interface — both during your session and later from a saved listing in History. Technical details can be edited during your session.

Regenerating Metadata

If you'd like a different set of AI suggestions — for example, if the first result doesn't feel like a good fit for your asset — you can regenerate metadata. Regeneration costs another 10 credits.

Privacy

• Your 3D files stay local — Your GLB model is loaded and rendered entirely in your browser and is never uploaded to our servers.
• Preview renders used for analysis — The preview renders captured automatically for metadata generation (see "How It Works" above) are sent to our AI provider for analysis and are not saved to your account.
• The renders you capture are uploaded to your account as you go and are immediately available under History → Renders, whether or not you save a listing. Saving a listing groups your selected renders together with their generated metadata — see "Saving & Managing Listings" below.

Saving & Managing Listings

Saving a Listing

Once you're happy with your renders and metadata, click "Save Listing" to store everything for future reference.

• What gets saved — A name for the listing, all renders currently in your gallery, generated metadata for each selected marketplace, and a creation timestamp.

Viewing Your History

Open "History" from the dashboard and switch to the "Listings" tab to see all saved listings. Each card shows a preview of its renders, its name, target marketplaces, and creation date.

• Click a render to open it, then click the fullscreen button to step through all the renders in the listing with left/right navigation.
• Give a listing a custom display name using the rename (pencil) icon on its card. This name is stored in your browser and is used for ZIP exports.
• Add your own organizational tags to a listing using the tag icon on its card — useful for grouping or labeling listings your own way.

Searching & Filtering

Use the search box to find listings by name. Use the date filter to narrow the list to listings created within a specific time range.

Editing a Listing

Open a listing and click "Edit" to:

• Edit the title, description, tags, and category for each marketplace.
• Reorder the listing's renders by dragging them — the first one becomes the cover image.
• Add optional notes that are included as a README in ZIP exports.

Exporting a Listing

Click the download icon on a listing card. If the listing targets a single marketplace, the ZIP downloads immediately. If it targets multiple marketplaces, an "Export ZIP" dialog lets you choose which marketplaces to include. The ZIP contains:

• A folder per included marketplace, containing that marketplace's renders.
• A metadata file (title, description, tags, category, and technical details) for each marketplace.
• An optional README with any notes you added.

Deleting a Listing or Renders

In the Renders tab, you can delete individual renders. In the Listings tab, deleting a listing removes the listing and all of its renders together — renders aren't deleted individually from within a listing. Both actions are permanent and cannot be undone.

• Deleted renders and listings are removed from storage immediately.
• No credits are refunded for deleted listings or renders.

Understanding Credits & Billing

What Are Credits For?

• Starting a render session — 10 credits. Covers AI-generated metadata for every marketplace you selected.
• Regenerating metadata — 10 credits per regeneration.

Your Credit Balance

Your current credit balance appears in the top-right corner of your dashboard and updates in real time. Before starting a session, you'll see exactly how many credits the session will cost and your balance afterward.

Insufficient Credits

If your balance is too low to start a session or regenerate metadata:

• The action is blocked and no credits are deducted.
• Free-tier users are prompted to upgrade; paid-tier users are offered a credit top-up.

Plans

Rendertize uses a one-time, lifetime-access pricing model — pay once, keep your tier forever. Paid tiers also receive a monthly credit refresh.

Monthly Credit Grants

• Starter, Pro, and Studio — Receive their monthly credit allotment (200 / 500 / 1,500) on a recurring 30-day cycle starting from the date you activated your plan.
• Free — The 20 signup credits are one-time only and do not refresh.
• Unused monthly credits do not roll over to the next cycle.

Credit Top-Ups

Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Studio) can purchase additional credit top-up bundles at any time. Top-up credits never expire and are spent only after your monthly credit grant runs out.

Credit History

The Credits page shows a "Usage history" panel with your recent credit transactions — the date, reason (e.g., "AI Metadata Analysis", "Monthly Credit Renewal", "Welcome Bonus"), and amount. Click "View full history" at the bottom of that panel to open the full Credit History page, which also shows your resulting balance after each transaction.
