Refund Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with Rendertize. If you're not, we offer a straightforward 30-day money-back guarantee.
1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
You may request a full refund of a tier purchase (Starter, Pro, or Studio) within 30 days of your purchase date, no questions asked. After 30 days, all purchases are final. Top-up credit purchases follow the additional conditions in Section 4.
2. Merchant of Record
All purchases are processed by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the legal seller for all transactions and handles all payment processing, refunds, tax calculations, and currency conversions on our behalf. Refund eligibility under this policy is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
3. How to Request a Refund
There are three ways to request a refund:
- Via a support ticket from your dashboard, under the "Billing" category. We will process the refund through Paddle on your behalf.
- Via email: Contact us at support@rendertize.com with your purchase email and we will process the refund through Paddle on your behalf.
- Via Paddle: Contact Paddle directly through the support link on your purchase receipt or invoice.
Refunds are typically processed within 3–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider. Refunds are issued in the original currency to the original payment method and include any applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) originally charged. Exchange rate fluctuations between the original purchase and the refund may cause the refunded amount in your local currency to differ from the original charge. We are not responsible for exchange rate movements.
4. What Is Refundable
- Tier purchases (Starter, Pro, Studio): Fully refundable within 30 days.
- Credit top-up purchases: Refundable within 30 days only if your top-up credit balance has not decreased since the purchase. The system maintains separate balances for monthly credits and purchased top-up credits — monthly credits are always consumed first. This means your top-up balance only decreases after your monthly credits are fully used. Once any top-up credits have been consumed, that purchase is non-refundable.
- Note on refunding a tier: If you refund a tier purchase, your account is downgraded to Free. Any remaining top-up credit balance is preserved and remains spendable on the Free tier.
Our refund window is 30 days from purchase; after 30 days, all sales are final.
5. What Happens After a Refund
- Your account will be downgraded to the Free tier immediately upon refund processing.
- Your monthly credit balance is reset to zero. Any unused top-up credits remain on your account and are spendable on the Free tier. The one-time Free tier signup bonus is not re-granted.
- Your existing renders and listings remain accessible. However, if your stored data exceeds the Free tier storage limit (1 GB), you will be unable to start new render sessions until your storage is below the Free tier limit. We recommend deleting old renders or listings to free up space.
- Your account itself is not deleted — you retain access to the Free tier and may re-purchase at any time.
6. Eligibility
- Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date.
- Refund requests must be submitted by the account holder using the original purchase email address.
- Accounts suspended for fraud, abuse, payment disputes, or material violations of our Terms of Service may be ineligible for refunds at our discretion.
- We reserve the right to refuse refund requests from accounts that show a pattern of repeated purchase-and-refund behavior.
7. EU, EEA & UK Customers
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Article 16(m)), the equivalent rules implemented across EEA member states, and the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for purchases of digital content. However, because Rendertize delivers digital content immediately upon purchase — tier access and monthly credits activate instantly on tier purchase, and top-up credits are added to your balance instantly on top-up purchase — by completing checkout you explicitly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day withdrawal right once delivery begins.
Regardless of the statutory withdrawal right, our 30-day money-back guarantee still applies and provides a longer refund window than the statutory minimum.
8. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds are not available. Refunds are issued for the full purchase amount of the item being refunded — we do not pro-rate based on credits consumed, time elapsed, or features used. A tier refund returns the full tier price; a top-up refund (subject to Section 4) is for the full bundle price.
9. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer instead of requesting a refund through us or Paddle, your account may be suspended pending investigation. We strongly encourage contacting us directly first — we will always honour a valid refund request within the 30-day window.
Before filing a chargeback, open a support ticket or email support@rendertize.com. Filing a chargeback may result in account suspension or permanent closure. Chargebacks filed for fraudulent reasons will result in permanent closure and a block on future re-purchase.
10. Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Rendertize after the effective date of an updated policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
